Mocha-Chocolate Trifle

Ingredients

1 pack (18.25 oz) of devil's food light cake mix
1 ⅓ cup of water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 large egg whites
1 large egg
Cooking Spray
3 cups cold skimmed milk
1 pack of 5.9 oz instant chocolate pudding
½ cup Kalua (coffee-flavored liqueur) or 1/2 cup hard-brewed coffee
1 box frozen fat-free whipped cream (8 oz.), defrosted
½ cup sliced chocolate bars with low-fat toffee and crispy crust (about 4 bars) (like Hershey's Sweet Escapes)

To make

Half a cup of Kahlua adds spice to this mocha and chocolate dessert. Chocolate lovers will appreciate this dessert, which is less high-calorie, but very tasty. Don't give up the butterscotch, you'll want a crispy crust!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; beat on a medium speed mixer until smooth. Spoon the batter onto a 13-inch x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 ° C for 25 minutes or until a wooden stick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes on a wire rack; remove from the pan. Cool completely on a wire rack.Combine the milk and pudding mixture in a medium bowl; cook as directed on the package.Cut half of the cake into pieces; place in a 3-quart bowl or baking dish. Pour half the Kahlua over the cake pieces; top with half the pudding, whipped topping, and chocolate bars. Repeat the process with the remaining cake, Kahlua, pudding, whipped cream and chocolate bars. Cover; refrigerate at least 4 hours.
