One-Pan Whiskey-Flavored Pork Chops

Ingredients

⅔ cup low-fat sour cream
½ cup water
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon dried grated sage
¼ teaspoon black pepper
4 (6 oz) pork chops, center-boned, trimmed
¼ teaspoon salt
⅛ a teaspoon of ground black pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil
½ cup chopped onion
1 pack (8 oz) chopped mushrooms
½ cup whiskey

To make

The main course of this pork chop is served with bone-in pork chops drizzled with whiskey sauce and mushrooms in a pan. Serve with mashed potatoes for fullness.
Preheat the oven to 300°.Combine the first 6 ingredients in a small bowl.Sprinkle the pork with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork; cook for 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove the pork from the pan. Add the onion and mushrooms to the pan; saute for 3 minutes. Carefully add the whiskey to the skillet; cook for 1 minute or until the liquid is almost evaporated. Add the sour cream mixture to the pan. Return the pork to the pan; drizzle the sauce over the pork.Wrap the pan handle with foil. Cover and bake at 300 ° C for 1 hour. Serve immediately.
