4 (6 oz) fillet of beef tenderloin
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
½ teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil

Prepare this simple but excellent pan-fried beef tenderloin recipe for your guests.
Sprinkle the fillet with pepper and salt.Melt the butter and olive oil in a large stainless steel or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the fillets and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until desired browning. Let stand for 5 minutes.
