Pecan-Rosemary-Cheddar Buttons

Ingredients
2 ½ cups (10 oz.) fresh grated spicy cheddar cheese
½ cup softened butter
2 tablespoons halved
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 cups chopped toasted pecans
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
To make
Pecan, rosemary and cheddar bread rolls combine a nutty touch of pecan and earthy rosemary to give the cheddar cheese straws a rich flavor.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.Beat the cheese, butter, baking powder and salt on medium speed using a powerful electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the flour, pecans and rosemary, whisking until smooth.Place the dough on a well-floured surface. Divide into 4 equal parts and flatten each into a disc; roll out each disc 1/8 inch thick. Slice with a 2-inch round knife. Place on baking sheets lined with parchment paper, 1 inch apart. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown; cool on baking sheets on a wire rack for 30 minutes.
