Bookmark this page

Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon canola oil
¼ cup finely chopped shallots
.38 teaspoons of salt
2 packs (8 oz each) pre-sliced cremini mushrooms
⅓ a glass of dry white wine
4 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
To make
In less than 20 minutes, sauteed mushrooms with butter and thyme can be your new favorite addition to your favorite main course. We used sliced cremini mushrooms to start cooking, and added some fresh thyme and some white wine to enhance the flavor.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and shallots; cook for 1 minute or until tender. Add the salt and mushrooms to the pan; cook for 13 minutes or until the mushrooms are browned and the liquid has evaporated. Add the wine to the pan; cook for 2 minutes or until the liquid has almost evaporated. Add the thyme and cook for 30 seconds.
