Seared Sirloin Steak Bites with Miso Butter and Rice

Ingredients
1 cup raw brown instant rice
2 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
1 tablespoon white / yellow miso (soy paste)
1 pound sirloin steak, peeled and cut into 1-inch thick slices
¾ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
Cooking Spray
2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
To make
Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.Put the butter and miso in a large bowl, stirring constantly. Sprinkle the steak evenly with pepper and salt. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brush the mold with cooking spray. Transfer the steak to the skillet; cook for 2 minutes on each side or until desired browning. Add the steak to the butter mixture; stir to coat. Sprinkle the steak with green onions.Mix the rice vinegar and oil with the rice. Serve the rice with the steak mixture.
