To make
This light Asian-inspired sesame soy salmon is the perfect choice for a busy weekday dinner.
Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar. Brush the salmon with half of the soy mixture and leave for 10-15 minutes.Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Saute the salmon for 3-4 minutes, then flip and brush with the remaining soy mixture. Cook for 3 minutes or until desired degree of readiness. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.Wine Note: Amy Arrington of Southern Wine and Spirits in Charleston, South Carolina, offers wine options to accompany this dish: "Franciscan Chardonnay, with its ripe fruitiness, rich texture and creamy flavor, goes well with salmon — it can withstand the rich taste of salmon, but has enough acidity for contrast. Pinot Noir, made in the Esser vineyards, is a delicious addition to the juiciness of the fish, and its low tannin content does not affect the excellent taste of salmon.
