Spinach Dip


2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup cooked spinach
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
8 ounces/225 g. cream cheese
Crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks to serve

To make

This cheesy spinach dip is great for a snack. You can serve it with sliced vegetables for extra nutrition. To turn it into a dinner, mix it with cooked pasta.

  1. Cook the garlic in the olive oil over medium heat on the stove until the garlic starts to turn brown. Be careful at this stage not to burn the garlic.
  2. Add the cooked spinach and the oregano and thyme. If you can't find these spices, this dish tastes fine without them.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and add the parmesan and cream cheese. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted and a smooth dip is made.

You're ready to serve spinach dip!
