Taco Soup (Paula Deen)

Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
2 cups diced onion
2 cans pinto beans 15.1 / 2 oz
2 15 1/2-ounce cans of pink beans
1 can mexican stewed tomatoes, 14 1/2 ounces
1 can diced tomatoes, 14 1/2 oz
1 can chili tomatoes 14 1/2
2 4 1/2-ounce cans diced green chili powder
½ cup black olives
1 pack taco seasoning mix 1 1/4 oz
1 pack of ranch dressing, 1 oz
corn chips
sour cream
grated cheese
chopped green onions
sliced jalapeno
To make
cooking time in a slow cooker is 15 minutes... 6 hours
Saute the ground beef and onion in a large skillet: drain off any excess fat, then transfer the sauteed beef and onion to a large slow cooker or saucepan. Add the rest of the ingredients to make corn chips. Cook in a slow cooker over low heat for 6-8 hours or simmer for about 1 hour in a saucepan on the stove. Before serving, place a few corn chips on each plate and pour the soup over them. If desired, decorate the top.
