Ingredients
½ sweet onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 small jalapeno pepper, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon lemon zest
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
⅓ cup olive oil
¼ cup chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ pound small cooked shrimp, peeled and pitted
4 large family-value tomatoes, sliced
5 slices of bacon, cooked and sliced

When the day calls for a light meal, try a tomato and shrimp salad. This ready-made dish combines fresh products from land and sea. Jalapeno pepper gives the desired sharpness and goes well with onions, shrimp and, of course, tomatoes.
Combine the first 10 ingredients in a large bowl, stirring until smooth. Add the tomatoes, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.Add the bacon. Serve the shrimp mixture with the watercress.
