Ingredients
2 lemons, quartered and pitted
¾ cup granulated sugar
6 cups cold water, divided
2 cups ice
To make
Forget about squeezing lemons by hand for fresh juice. Using a whole lemon, you can make the fastest and most lemon-flavored serving of fresh lemonade you've ever tasted. Just throw the lemons in a blender and mix with water and sugar, then remove the dry part-boom, it couldn't be easier. In fact, you can use the same technique with fresh limes to make limeade or, even better,a quick margarita.
Whisk the lemons, sugar, and 4 cups of water in a blender until smooth and frothy, 1-2 minutes. Pour the mixture through a fine wire mesh sieve into a jug; discard the dry matter. Add ice and the remaining 2 cups of water.
